Hal Marcus has a life-long passion of the arts. His sense of colorful expressions of a cubistic world of shapes within shapes originated from the influences of Mexico. His love for art reflects the environment in which he lives. El Paso people, streets and mountains show up in his works of art, and make people proud of their community along the border. His works are cultural icons for the community. His entrepreneurial pursuits have led him to collaborate with hundreds of institutions creating images for worthy causes. His works express local and global themes of love and peace derived from his experiences. Hal Marcus’ self-taught folk-art style has become main stream in the isolated art community along the Rio Grande. His works are found in public, private and corporate collections worldwide.

Kareesha Willow
Belly Dance Joy
Kareesha Willow has been dancing since she was born. She literally danced out of her mother’s womb, as her mother was one of the original Sisters of The Moon Belly Dance troupe in El Paso in the 1970s. She is energetic and fun. She combines a balance of technique, choreography, and improvisation to help improve your overall dance knowledge and experience. Whether you are just a beginner or more advanced, she offers different options in her classes to challenge all levels of dancer.

She has a Bachelors Degree in Education from The University of Texas at El Paso.
Richard Powell, D.S.S.
Life and Business Coach
Richard L. Powell, DSS. served as a CEO in the business world for over 27 years, while spending almost four decades in the pursuit of enlightenment, inner advancement and personal growth.
Along the way he earned a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica (USM) and a master's and doctorate degree in Spiritual Science from Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy in Los Angeles.
He has been a Board Member of the University of Santa Monica since 2007 and has facilitated numerous workshops and seminars.
He has traveled the world, both teaching and learning, and continues daily on his journey to personal evolution.

With a background in dance, she extends her expertise as a certified 200YTT yoga coach, seamlessly combining her skills in aerial arts. Yadira has a passion for making individuals better through movement and wellness.
TANG
Tai Chi Chuan and QiGong

Mr. Tang is a lifelong practitioner of Classical Chinese Martial Arts, Chen Family Tai Chi Ch’uan. He learned this practice in his home town near Hong Kong as a youth, and he has taught Tai Chi for many years in the desert southwest. Chen Family Tai Chi Ch’uan is known for healthy regulation of the body and for its martial arts applications. "Mr. Tang is a very down to earth teacher and a master of his craft."-Krishna Caran

AM Ballroom
Antwoine M. Tuggerson and Michelle Graell, founders of AM Ballroom, bring decades of award-winning experience to Sunset Parlor.
Antwoine began in hip-hop before mastering ballroom and salsa. A former President of the San José State Salsa Team, he was Arthur Murray International’s #1 Top Instructor worldwide for three consecutive years. He earned Top Murray Mentor honors and competed at the Open levels in American Rhythm and Smooth.
Michelle, a National Title holder, competed at the Amateur Open Championship level in American Rhythm. Her career includes Dancing With the Stars in Las Vegas, managing Arthur Murray studios, and helping launch Just Dance LA.
Specializing in Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Argentine Tango, and Swing, the duo is celebrated for creating welcoming, high-quality classes that inspire confidence, connection, and joy.
RINA
Traditional Yoga

Rina is a passionate yoga practitioner and instructor with over 20 years of experience. "I am dedicated to nurturing physical, mental and spiritual well-being through yoga practices," explains Rina. "My teaching is rooted in the philosophy of yoga as a life style, emphasising its integration into daily routine for holistic well-being."
Rina's classes are based in Traditional Yoga: nurturing physical and mental well being through the integration of guided postures, breath control and meditation.
Jaya Vaswani
Bollywood Dance
Travel to India through dance with Jaya Vaswani. Her classes will guide you through the basic steps of Bollywood and include the intrinsic hand gestures used in Classical styles of Indian dance. Shake your shoulders, add a bounce, and enjoy the vibrant beats of Bollywood music. Her class is designed to bring in joy and release negative energy while trying something new and fun. All levels are welcome.
